Since 1942, Dean’s Shop has been serving central Texas residents and ensuring they are comfortable in their homes. Founded by Wesley Dean in Staples, Texas, Dean’s Shop moved to its present location, 290 Wonder World Drive in San Marcos, in 1994 under current owner Walter Mott.

Mr. Mott started working in this career field while in high school. In 1992, he and his wife Janie, bought Dean’s Shop. Mr. Mott holds degrees in both air conditioning and electric power distribution. Under Mr. Mott’s direction, Dean’s Shop has expanded to include electrical wiring in its offering of services.

Our staff continues to participate in all of the service and product knowledge classes offered by Trane. We offer 10-year parts and labor warranties on all of our comfort systems. Dean's Shop has expanded this coverage with our own limited warranty to include all installed duct work. This makes our customers feel secure in the knowledge that for the next ten years, the entire installation by our company will be warranted free from defects, at no cost to the customer.
